Welcome to the Nu Omega Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi in the
Helzberg School of Management at
Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.
Founded in 1907 at New York University - School of Commerce,
Accounts and Finance by Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alexander Frank
Makay, Alfred Moysello and Henry Albert Tienken, Delta Sigma Pi
currently has more than 250 chapters across the United States
and nearly 200,000 members support the goals and ideals of the
Fraternity.
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster
the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship,
social activity and the association of students for their mutual
advancement by research and practice; to promote closer
affiliation between the commercial world and students of
commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics
and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the
community.
The Deltasigs are off to a great start
this semester. We have already had numerous professional and
service events and we have started to the pledge education
process for our spring 2009 class. Seventeen of our brothers
recently went to New York to visit the financial institutions
there accompanied by our chapter advisor, Professor White and
Rockhurst faculty members, Dr. Gartland and Dr. Stack. Photos
from the trip are available now! Just click on the photo albums
link below.
Be sure to check out all of our
photo albums.
